{"id":454,"date":"2009-12-27T21:40:26","date_gmt":"2009-12-28T03:40:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/freemanart.com\/index.php\/?p=454"},"modified":"2009-12-27T21:40:26","modified_gmt":"2009-12-28T03:40:26","slug":"plein-air-painting-with-dave-zaboski","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.freemanart.com\/?p=454","title":{"rendered":"Plein Air Painting with Dave Zaboski"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"attachment wp-att-455 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/freemanart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/david-portrait-web.jpg\" alt=\"Dave Zaboski\" width=\"500\" height=\"362\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wow, we had so much fun Plein Air painting in the backyard today.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davezaboski.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dave Zaboski<\/a> was intrigued with my panorama size seascape of Will Roger&#8217;s State Beach, so we did a raw canvas trade and he took on the challenge of doing his first largest Plein Air oil painting in an afternoon.\u00a0 When asked how he was doing &#8220;I&#8217;m cranking&#8221; was his reply, and so he happily was and his gorgeous painting emerged.<\/p>\n<p>When Dave said he was going to paint the Buddha on the wall, I decided to do the same.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve painted several masonite panel studies of the grove of oaks beyond the Buddha and painting the Buddha would be refreshing.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karenswylie.com\/about.html\" target=\"_blank\">Reverend Karen Wylie<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.solsc.org\/Symphony_of_Life_Spiritual_Center\/Home.html\" target=\"_blank\">Symphony of Life<\/a>, gave an excellent sermon today, or better yet, spirit spoke about allowing and having faith in Spirit.
